The 2011 Telmo Rodríguez Rioja Las Beatas is a ground-breaking, single-vineyard red from Telmo Rodríguez in its first vintage. This was one of the first vineyards Telmo and his partner in crime Pablo Egurkiza bought when they earned their first money, a small plot located somewhere between Briñas and Labastida where the soil is terraced and planted with mixed varieties. The wine is elegant and ethereal, complex and fresh. I dream about it...
